Spiderman 2 on TV tonight, I've never seen it so we're watching. Worked a bit on the Ryden mpreg. Only a few days until Christmas. I want that iPod Nano, lol. Good times!

*waves* Hey! How you doing? I got to my parents' house this morning and I'll be here until New Year's. I spent last night sleeping on a train. I was being stingy and refused to pay the ridiculous price for the sleeping compartment, so I just nodded off, trying to fit on my seat in a comfy position from 10.30pm to 07.50am. It wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be.

Haven't been writing any fic. I am hoping to finish Chapter 2 of Vol.1: II soonish. Maybe work on that Ryden mpreg sequel, but I've got an idea for a sequel as well as a spin off, so I'm not sure what to do with that. And then I want to write that age difference Joncer where Jon is an actor in LA and Spencer swears he's eighteen. (Spencer is so not eighteen.)

One day and I've already had my fill of MTVs "reality" TV shows. Made? So much secondhand embarrassement. The Hills I can sort of live with. Brooke Knows Best is so acted that it infuriates me that my sister refuses to admit that it's fake as far as "reality" is concerned. Oh, how about 16 and Pregnant? That show should be called "Use a Condom". Music Television. Where's the fucking music, MTV?

So, the parental units said that we were going to Hawaii at the end of January. They NEVER told me dates. I assumed it would be the LAST week, aka, the END of January. Then I find out that we'd be leaving on the 16th and getting back the next Saturday. Um. No.

1) Greta Salpeter's show is on the 16th, the one I made happen. I was the one that emailed everybody and went down to the Clazel! I'm hooking all the bands up and I'm even GUESTLISTED! I am NOT missing this show.
2) The Audition/Summer Set/Sparks The Rescue/Every Avenue show is the 19th. I have been waiting to see the Audition for YEARS! And they are coming to MY TOWN! I am missing this even less than Greta's show! And I want to see The Summer Set again! I miss them!
3) I have Solo and Ensemble for band the Sunday after we would get back. We only have 3 weeks after we get back to practice. The piece isn't hard but I want it to be PERFECT and I don't want to miss the chance to practice last minute.
4) Out of my 7 classes, FOUR of them are ones that I need to be in class EVERY DAY or I get so far behind? Going a full week without being there would put me further behind than I really want to be.
5) It would save a lot of money if I didn't go. They wouldn't have to pay for me to eat, go there, do any of the things they want me to do.
6) It could be like a romantic getaway for the parental units. Without me there, they can do whatever they want *shudders at the thought* without having to worry about me.
7) It's not like I don't have people that I can stay with! Caity is willing to let me stay with her for that week, along with Steph. I would be taken care of and protected. Mom wouldn't let anything happen to me.
 
I have so many reasons to go, but I can't put all of them out until I go see my girl, because they're being assholes and threatening to cancel my flight to go see her. I am so pissed off and stressed about this situation. But I am not going to Hawaii.

but i just read something i did not know.

i did know, "The US Department of Justice estimates that 1 in 5 college women will be raped at some point during a five-year college career." i did know, "about 9 out of 10 times, the victim will know her assailant."

i did not know, "half of all victims will not call what happened rape."



this exactly mirrors a Huge Epic Loud fight I had with my father this summer about those feminists and their falsified rape statistics. maybe i should get him purity myth and this book for hannukah. happy new year, dude.
